Apple Cider Vinegar Making & Infusing Workshop ~ Friday 17th October 11am ~ 4pm October
I have been infusing apple cider vinegar for 8 years now, ever since I learnt the recipe of Fire Cider on a herbalism course at Neals Yard in London. I have gone on to create another 4 blends of my own with different flavours and benefits. I am called the “Apple Cider Vinegar Girl’ by many so when I found out there was an apple tree at the new house, well you could imagine my glee. I have wanted to make the apple cider vinegar from scratch and have made it a few times but didnt have the space, I now have this too!
I thought this was the perfect first workshop as we enter into Autumn and are all leaning back into our natural remedies to boost our immune system to keep us all well through the colder months. We will spend the morning, picking, peeling and creating our own batches of apple cider vinegar that you will take home with you where it can ferment and be ready in 6 weeks.
After enjoying a natural and nourishing lunch in the Remedy Room with the fire roaring and all the cosy vibes. A herbal tea mediation after desert to deeply relax, tune into our senses and gut instincts and needs. We will then enjoy an afternoon of infusing a ready made batch of apple cider vinegar for you to take home. This is where I get to share with you all of my knowledge and experience of what makes a good blend, flavours, quantities and benefits of different herbs, spices, alliums and root vegetables. You will make your very own bespoke blend and tailor it to what you need and want, be it digestion support, immune sysytem, hormones or perhaps just the flavours you like. This will be ready a month later and then you can continue on your own apple cider vinegar journey with confidence and understanding how to create your very own gut healing remedies.
I’m so excited about the day and sharing my new space at the Rectory. These are always such nourishing days to gift yourself. to slow down, to reconnect to what you and your body needs, to relax and be nurtured and inspired to make positive changes and to meet other conscious souls on the same journey of learnign these ancient techniques and turning to nature.
