Langcliffe Hall Weekend Retreat
Spring Edition with Nourish HQ
30th April - 3rd May 2026 ~ 2 Rooms Left
7th May - 10th May 2026 ~ 1 Room Left
As the earth awakens, join us for a weekend devoted to cleansing, restoration and renewal. This is a time to pause, release the heaviness of winter, and gently return to balance - body, mind and spirit.
Through nourishing food, connection with nature, and simple herbal practices, you’ll learn to support your body’s natural rhythms: making gut-healing remedies, herbal tonics and sow seedlings to plant your own medicine garden at home. We’ll slow down together - walking the gardens, tending the soil, and resting deeply - so you leave feeling lighter, restored, and ready to step into spring with clarity and vitality.
I am delighted to be collaborating once again with the beautiful Charlotte from nourish HQ at her magnificent home Langcliffe Hall in Settle, Yorkshire Dales. This time with our SPRING edition, where we will embrace the return of the light and the abundance of Mother Natures Cleansing gifts at this time of year. This is the perfect time of year to retreat as we transition through the seasons. The perfect chance to take stock, to reflect and release the heaviness form winter and find your fairy feet again... After becoming such good friends with Charlotte after finding her through complete serendipity of a damaged delivery of her apple cider vinegars. I started to visit for one to one breathwork sessions that were very special and I just loved being able to come to Langcliffe Hall. It soon became my healing and happy place with all of its granduer, history but also her energy of strength and safety, yep I’m still talking about the Hall here but I feel she’s a she she has always been passed trough the female line. She has soft yet strong energy around her and the hills she sits within. However Charlottes is much the same, with a real angelic quality, wisdom beyond her years and with an energy of grace surrounding her. Her complete devotion to faith and fun personality makes her really quite rare and special in my eyes, so there is no one I would rather be offering this retreat alongside. She is a talented Ayervedic practioner, breath work and yoga teacher and has grown her very own medicine garden in the walled gardens making all of her own medicines and magic. Alongside my knowledge of gut healing goodness and hormone balancing remedies apple cider vinegar infusing and my love for essential oils we’ve got a real treat of a weekend planned. In-fact we worry how we can fit it all in. As of course we want plenty of downtime, plenty of nourishment through food and both of these play key parts. We will both be spending time in the kitchen whilst the other holds space and shares knowledge of all these many things , so you van get the best of both of us. Evenings by the fire, catching a sunset if weather supports, soaks in the bath, and a special sunrise to round things off are how we like to roll.
Charlottes home, Langcliffle Hall in Settle, in the cusp of Yorkshire and the Lake District dates back to 1602 and is where we will able able to step back in time to a simple, slower life style in this magnificent Grade II listed Jacobean Hall. A family home that has been passed down through its female ancestors, is steeped in history, and has many distinguished visitors of a bygone era including: Sir Isaac Newton, Lord Halifax and Mr Stanley Baldwin to name but a few. The oldest building in Langcliffe, occupying a beautiful, south facing position with far reaching views, and stunning grounds which will be bursting with spring energy and colour to enjoy. The walled gardens will be coming alive and the gardens will be blossoming. The Hall provides grand, luxurious, comfortable, cosy and elegant accommodation, the bedrooms are all unique and beautiful. The space and grounds are there to explore, you’ll discover ducks, donkeys Gavin and Lizzie, Judas the horse and much more.

NATURE & NUTRITION
We will both be preparing the nourishment of vegetarian and plant based food and drinks throghout the weekend. I will be offering herbal tea meditations throughout the weekend to start our days in the perfect way with ‘Retreat Remedies’ herbal tea blends to cleanse, calm, and support our adrenals. I will also be sharing my knowledge of how we can use food to heal our guts, balance our hormones and boost our immune system, Supperclub style on the evenings. Charlotte will share her knowledge of how we can best eat to support our dosha types according to Auyerveda also. So you will certainly go home inspired aswell as nourished and cleansed.

MOVEMENT BREATHWORK
Charlotte has been teaching yoga and pranayama (breathwork) for over ten years and has found them to be the most transformative practices for healing the nervous system, regulating the emotions, and shifting stagnation out of the body. She specialises in helping you find calm, clarity, and inner balance through the power of guided breathwork and meditation. We will have immersive practices, beginning with gentle connective breathing, moving into more vigorous, stimulating breaths, and then bringing everything back down to softness, finding deep stillness and quiet. We will move through intuitive, luxurious yoga practices that are gentle, restorative and suitable for all levels.
-
GOODNESS FROM GARDEN
We will be cooking with as much fresh produce as possible ~ from the grounds and the walled vegetable garden where Charlotte grows everything organically. All food where possible will be gathered by you and will be prepped by ourselves to make sure you have a real connection to the menu from the grounds and gardens. It doesnt get much better than this. Charlotte will of course be sharing her growing knowledge as well as her medicine making so you can go home inspired to grow some of you own too and have plenty of time to talk gardening and growing with her. The menu will be vegetarian and gluten free but its no problem to accommodate vegan or any other dietary requirements - just let us know when booking.

MEDICINE MAKING
We will be spendng the weekend working with Mother Nature, learning about all of the herbs and plants we have access to from the hedgerow, the wild and the garden. How to grow them, preserve them and turn the into medicine. We will cover the different variety of herbal remedies you can make. We will be focusing on cleansing remedies to support the spring energy. A real focus and supportive remedies for the gut and liver both cleansing and healing. This is one of the man pillars of good hormone and digestive health. ‘We are not what we eat but what we digest’ You will be going home not only with a full cupboard of homemade remedies, but with the knowledge, confidence and inspiration to turn to nature for your healing. We are both extremely passionate about taking care of our own health naturally. We can’t wait to share this with you.
A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN
LOCATION
This discreet and private Hall sits on the edge of the picturesque village of Langcliffe, with views over the hall grounds and parkland, leading to the charming market town of Settle. Drive through the grand gates and arrive at the beautiful frontage of Langcliffe Hall. Enter through the ancient oak doors into the impressive main hallway with oak panelled walls and enter into another world. The hall is like stepping into another era where things were quiter, slower and allow the world outside to disappear.
Langcliffe Hall is a grade II listed Jacobean manor house nestled in the dramatic hills of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Surrounded by formal gardens, wildflower meadows, woodlands, and a productive organic kitchen garden and medicine garden, Langcliffe Hall is not a Retreat Venue, it is a home and this is what makes it feel so special. It has a real hug energy to the place and it loves being filled, it is most certainly the special ingredient to our winning formula. It has a fairytale like quality, with no shortage of trailing roses, and meandering paths.
The house dates back to 1602 and has remained in Charlotte’s family for over 400yrs. Still very much a home, the house is cosy, full of history and authentic charm. Expect luxurious bedrooms, beds you will sink in to, oak panelled living rooms, wood burning stoves, hot baths and plenty of quiet nooks to sit back with a book or your journal.
