Langcliffe Hall Weekend Retreat

Summer Edition 2026

Date ~ Thurs 16th - Sun 19th July 2026

Come and spend some time tuning into Mother Natures Medicine. Enjoy slowing down in the heat of summer and connecting back to self. With an extra emphasis on BALANCING HORMONES food and remedies for all stages of life. We will be spending as much time outdoors, where you can enjoy the bountiful grounds and gardens as we sit on the earth and make flower crowns. Aswell as hikes up the hill taking in the breath taking scenery and sunsets. Let me empower you of how to cut out the chemicals as I teach you how to make your very own natural SUMMER SKINCARE protection. As well as time to nourish the nervous system with daily braethwork and movement with Charlotte and a special Abhyanga workshop exploring Auyerveda and your dosha type and herbal support. Our SUMMER EDITION will have a more active feel with a few long walks and adventures to waterfalls. Everything is optional and the usual deep nourish, nurturing and rest will balance you along the way. We believe this really is the best way to Re…Treat yourself.

I am delighted to be collaborating once again with the beautiful Charlotte from nourish HQ at her magnificent home Langcliffe Hall in Settle, Yorkshire Dales. Where we will embrace the vibration and light of Summer at this very special location and the lands around. After becoming such good friends with Charlotte after finding her through complete serendipity of a damaged delivery of her apple cider vinegars. I started to visit for one to one breathwork sessions that were very special and I just loved being able to come to Langcliffe Hall. It soon became my healing and happy place with all of its granduer, history but also her energy of strength and safety, yep i’m still talking about the Hall here but I feel she’s a she she has always been passed trough the female line. She has soft yet strong energy around her and the hills she sits within. However Charlottes is much the same, with a real angelic quality, wise beyond her years and with a real grace around her. Her complete devotion to faith and fun personality makes her really quite rare and special in my eyes, so there is no one I would rather be offering this retreat alongside. She is a talented Ayervedic practioner, and yoga teacher and has grown her very own medicine garden in the walled gardens and runs her own medicine making days for tinctures and oils that you harvest from her garden. Alongside my knowledge of herbal tea blending and my love for essential oils and creating natural remedies for the skin we knew we could fill a weekend no problem. In-fact we worry how we can fit it all in. As of course we want plenty of downtime, plenty of nourishment through food. We will both be spending time in the kitchen whilst the other holds space and shares knowledge of al these many things. Time by the roaring fires will be necessary, soaks in the bath, a somatic fireside dance and sunsets up on the hills means we have a dreamy weekend of plans…

What makes this retreat so special is the location, it is not a retreat venue it is Charlottes family home where she grew up and now is the care taker of with her husband Mark. It makes the perfect space for retreats supporting that feeling of safety, being held and at home makes all the difference. Located on the cusp of Yorkshire and the Lake District, dates back to 1602 and is where we will able able to step back in time to a simple, slower life style in this magnificent Grade II listed Jacobean Hall. A family home that has been passed down through its female ancestors, is steeped in history, and has many distinguished visitors of a bygone era including: Sir Isaac Newton, Lord Halifax and Mr Stanley Baldwin to name but a few. The oldest building in Langcliffe, occupying a beautiful, south facing position with far reaching views, and stunning grounds which will be bursting with spring energy and colour to enjoy. The walled gardens will be coming alive and the gardens will be blossoming. The Hall provides grand, luxurious, comfortable, cosy and elegant accommodation, the bedrooms are all unique and beautiful. The space and grounds are there to explore, you’ll discover ducks, donkeys Gavin and Lizzie, Judas the horse and much more.

  • ‘I just wanted to thank you both for holding such a sacred, healing space. I came to the retreat in need of rest, clarity, and reconnection with myself. I found all of that and more. The energy, intention, and love you infused into every moment created a sanctuary where I felt truly seen, supported, and nourished. Thank you both for the gift of this beautiful experience, it was exactly what my soul needed.’

  • Thank you for the invite, which I’ve duly taken up for the second date next year. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the first one!! I think about that weekend every day and I’ve taken forward many of the things I learnt. The food was soo incredible and the whole experience is something I would just love to repeat . I found the whole weekend utterly magical and I learnt so much . The house, the land, the people... just wonderful. It gave me such a boost as a full time carer this was just what I needed so I’m going to do it all again . Something I’ll very much look forward to to even when I’m having a difficult day. C Gough

Charlotte will share her knowledge of how we can best eat to support our dosha types according to Auyerveda also. So you will certainly go home inspired aswell as nourished and cleansed.

  • MOVEMENT BREATHWORK

Charlotte has been teaching yoga and pranayama (breathwork) for over ten years and has found them to be the most transformative practices for healing the nervous system, regulating the emotions, and shifting stagnation out of the body. She specialises in helping you find calm, clarity, and inner balance through the power of guided breathwork and meditation. We will have immersive practices, beginning with gentle connective breathing, moving into more vigorous, stimulating breaths, and then bringing everything back down to softness, finding deep stillness and quiet. We will move through intuitive, luxurious yoga practices that are gentle, restorative and suitable for all levels.

  • GOODNESS FROM GARDEN

We wil be catching the end of the harvest from the walled vegetable garden where Charlotte grows everything organically. All food where possible will be gathered by you and will be prepped by ourselves to make sure you have a complete menu from the grounds and gardens. It doesnt get much better than this. We will also be gatherng the medicine and the herbs from Charottes medicine garden all grown from seed, with love and great knowledge of herbs. She will of course be sharing her growing knowledge as well as her medicine making so you can go home inspired to grow some of you own too.

  • MEDICINE MAKING

We will be spendng the weekend working with Mother Nature, learning about all of the herbs and plants we have access to from the hedgerow, the wild and the garden. How to grow them, preserve them and turn the into medicine. The difference of making infusions, tinctures, macerated oils, skincare, bath salts and working with essential oils. You will be going home not only with a full cupboard of homemade remedies, but with the knowledge, confidence and inspiration to turn to nature for everything. Cutting chemicals out of your life for good and feeling embowered about it. This is a huge step to make but one we will do in a weekend. Turning to a more natural life is something we are both extremely passionate about and taking care of our own health naturally. We can’t wait to share this with you.
